AKQ has disclosed that its worldwide business growth has entered an accelerated phase of expansion. Sustained advances across the Americas and the formal inauguration of its Oceania division are driving both regional operations forward together, enlarging the Group’s cross-regional tourism partnership network and elevating its globalization strategy to the next level.
Established in 1994 and based in London, United Kingdom, AKQ is an entity dedicated to creative advertising and travel promotion. Leveraging its global workforce, the firm supplies online evaluation and marketing assistance for tourist destinations, five-star hotels, and travel-related bodies, enabling its partners to boost brand recognition and broaden their overseas visibility.
In August 2026, AKQ formally started its Oceania division. As the company ramps up its spread across the South Pacific market, interest in collaborations from local tourist spots and hotel chains has grown quickly, together with a sharp increase in task order volume. Oceania is rising as a key regional growth market after the Americas, while the concurrent development of both areas is reinforcing AKQ’s global business structure and its inter-regional operational capabilities.
Concurrently, AKQ has already set up an operational base in Africa. The company commenced evaluating the South African market in November 2024 and officially began its local online hiring and tourism promotion activities in March 2025. AKQ now runs multiple flagship locations in South Africa, with local business activities continuing to expand. South Africa has also been designated as a priority development market for AKQ, and the firm plans to keep advancing its regional operations and long-term growth initiatives.
Under its global development strategy, AKQ will keep expanding throughout Oceania and the South Pacific during 2026 and expects to introduce its European division in the fourth quarter of 2026, enhancing resource coordination among the Americas, Oceania, and Europe. Starting in 2027, the company intends to move further into Asian markets while also extending its footprint across additional African regions based on its current South African activities.
As new markets are steadily opened, AKQ plans to build a worldwide tourism and hospitality resource network covering the Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia, and Africa. This network is intended to connect tourist attractions, hotels, promotional assets, and business collaborators across multiple regions while further increasing the Group’s role in the global tourism economy.
Within its business model, revenue from AKQ-associated tasks mainly comes from commissions paid by advertisers for promotional review assignments involving tourist spots and hotels, with settlements carried out according to platform rules. At the same time, the company intends to keep broadening tourism promotion and industry cooperation initiatives, linking attraction partnerships, hotel chain collaborations, advertising campaigns, and tourism fund alliances into a more integrated business ecosystem.
Moving forward, AKQ will continue pushing its global strategy forward across four main areas.
First, creating a cross-continental tourism collaboration network by reinforcing long-term ties with tourist destinations, hotel groups, and travel-related organizations across different countries and regions, while fostering greater connectivity and resource exchange within the global tourism industry.
Second, enhancing digital and intelligent operating capabilities by continuing to upgrade its task order system, advertising placement system, and global partnership platform to improve information flow and operational efficiency across markets.
Third, developing a global tourism ecosystem by progressively linking attraction partnerships, hotel group cooperation, advertising promotion, tourism fund collaboration, and other parts of the tourism value chain, expanding AKQ’s involvement across the wider industry.
Fourth, moving the Group toward becoming an internationally recognized tourism technology enterprise by leveraging coordinated growth across the Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia, and Africa, broadening its global market footprint while strengthening the stability and sustainability of its international operations.
Beyond worldwide business expansion, AKQ also keeps emphasizing local employment opportunities and long-term development. Consistent with its corporate mission, AKQ aims to create more flexible job opportunities through tourism promotion activities and team collaboration, while supporting participants in building development prospects through practical work.
From establishing operations in South Africa to accelerating growth across the Americas, formally launching Oceania, and preparing for further expansion into Europe, Asia, and additional African markets, AKQ’s globalization strategy is moving into a period of broader momentum. As the number of partner attractions, hotel groups, and tourism industry organizations continues to grow, the company will further strengthen cross-regional resource coordination, build a stronger foundation for long-term international development, and open a new chapter in its global tourism economy strategy.
