Homewatch CareGivers of Northern Kentucky has earned recognition as a Best of NKY and NKY Impact Award recipient. This honor was granted for the support delivered to seniors, individuals with disabilities or ongoing health conditions, patients recovering from hospital stays, and families seeking trustworthy in-home assistance.
These accolades were achieved through a method that takes into account each person’s daily routines, medical requirements, interests, and personal tastes. Those receiving care are supported by professional caregivers who undergo training, background checks, insurance coverage, and selection tailored to each client’s specific situation. Staff members receive a minimum of 12 hours of training each year, and caregiver background checks are renewed annually.
Tailored home care services are offered across Boone and Kenton counties, covering communities such as Florence, Burlington, Erlanger, Fort Mitchell, Hebron, Independence, Petersburg, Union, Verona, and Walton. Support can be arranged for older adults, veterans, new mothers and fathers, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those coming back home after a hospital or rehabilitation experience.
Services provided encompass companionship, personal care, dementia and Alzheimer’s support, respite care, transportation, round-the-clock assistance, post-hospital aid, end-of-life care, and management of chronic conditions. Additional help can include dressing, mobility, incontinence care, meal preparation, household chores, medication reminders, and appointment coordination.
A bespoke care plan is created once the client’s needs have been evaluated. Caregivers are then paired based on the necessary level of support and the personal compatibility of all parties involved. Plans are reassessed every 30 days to accommodate changes in health, mobility, schedules, and family situations. Satisfaction surveys are also carried out to keep track of the quality of care being delivered.
Through these awards, the community has acknowledged the efforts made in homes throughout Northern Kentucky. The focus extends beyond physical help to include reliability, safety, companionship, and respect for each person’s autonomy.
Families can arrange for occasional help, regular daily visits, overnight assistance, or continuous care depending on their needs. Services are often able to begin within a few days after an initial meeting and care evaluation have been finished.
