San Antonio firm deepens partnerships with WB Liquors, La Panadería, Morgan’s Wonderland and Hemisfair SA through a unified modern marketing strategy.

Companies no longer want separate agencies for traditional media and digital.”— Brandon Thompson
Helen Thompson Media (HTM), a prominent San Antonio advertising and media agency established in 1989, keeps broadening its portfolio and service offerings through fresh and ongoing collaborations with several of Texas’ most notable brands and institutions.
Current projects involve WB Liquors, La Panadería, Morgan’s Wonderland and Hemisfair San Antonio—four very different entities united by deep Texas heritage, strong local ties and the challenge of engaging modern audiences in a highly fragmented media environment.
“Businesses are no longer looking for one agency to handle traditional media and another to manage digital,” said Brandon Thompson, President of Helen Thompson Media. “They want a strategic partner that understands how television, social media, streaming, search, radio, outdoor, content and analytics all work together. That integrated approach is where HTM continues to grow and deliver real value.”
HTM’s growing client list showcases the agency’s skill in crafting tailored strategies that address each organization’s unique goals, audiences and hurdles.
For WB Liquors, one of Texas’ largest independent liquor retailers, HTM delivers an integrated plan aimed at boosting brand recognition, supporting individual store locations and linking media spend to consumer actions. The strategy merges paid search, social media, creator content, streaming video, location-based targeting and conventional channels.
HTM’s collaboration with La Panadería centers on elevating one of San Antonio’s most well-known culinary destinations. Established by brothers José and David Cáceres, La Panadería has earned a devoted customer base through its Mexican roots, family values, artistry and unique dining atmosphere.
Morgan’s Wonderland, celebrated as the world’s first ultra-accessible theme park, marks another key partnership for HTM. The organization’s dedication to inclusion offers powerful storytelling opportunities that raise awareness, spark community participation and connect people with its wider mission.
HTM is also teaming up with Hemisfair San Antonio, one of the city’s most iconic public spaces and a vital part of downtown San Antonio’s ongoing development. This partnership supports Hemisfair’s community activities and events, such as Super Fun Saturdays, by helping link local families with the offerings throughout the district.
“These organizations all have strong identities and important stories to tell,” Thompson said. “Our job is to understand what makes each one special and then build the right combination of media, content and measurement around it. There is no one-size-fits-all media plan.”
Modern consumers might first encounter a brand on TikTok or Instagram, later catch it on streaming television, hear about it on the radio, pass a billboard and finally make a purchase after a Google search. HTM builds campaigns around that entire customer journey rather than approaching each advertising channel as a standalone effort.
The agency’s offerings span paid social media, creator and influencer collaborations, Brand Voice Videos, streaming TV and audio, broadcast television, radio, billboards, Google Search, YouTube, geo-targeting, analytics, attribution and cross-platform reporting.
Although the media landscape has shifted drastically over HTM’s more than 36 years in operation, the agency’s core principles remain unchanged: relationships matter, trust matters and results matter.
“HTM has successfully evolved through every major shift in advertising while remaining focused on the people and businesses we serve,” Thompson added. “We are proud of our San Antonio roots and we are excited to continue helping great Texas brands grow.”
