Donnell Systems Earns SBA Women-Owned Small Business Certification

This official designation expands prospects for the tech firm to deliver OCIE’s information management capabilities to federal entities and government partners.

SOUTH BEND, IN, UNITED STATES, October 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Donnell Systems, Inc., the creator of the OCIE Information Management platform, is pleased to announce it has obtained Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This certification represents a significant achievement for Donnell Systems and acknowledges Mary Donnell’s leadership as proprietor of the Indiana-based technology firm.

“Achieving Women-Owned Small Business certification is an exciting milestone for Donnell Systems and represents another chapter in the company we have built over the past three decades,” said Mary Donnell, CEO and Owner of Donnell Systems. “We are extremely proud of our history, our technology and, most importantly, the relationships we have built with our customers.”

The SBA’s Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program is designed to improve access to federal contracting opportunities for qualified women-owned small businesses. WOSB-certified firms may compete for contracts set aside exclusively for certified participants in eligible sectors, while also pursuing other federal contracting avenues. For government agencies and partners, this certification offers an additional pathway to recognize and work with Donnell Systems as a verified small business technology provider.

“This certification is about more than pursuing new contracts,” Donnell added. “It validates who we are as a company and gives us another avenue to demonstrate what OCIE can do. Our focus remains the same: listen to our customers, understand the information challenges they face and deliver practical solutions that make their organizations more efficient.”

OCIE has been implemented in environments with heavy regulation and high information demands, including financial services, mortgage servicing, healthcare, and government. Donnell Systems intends to leverage its WOSB certification as part of an expanded strategy to grow OCIE’s footprint in government and regulated markets, all while continuing to support its current customer base.
